In a large mixing bowl:

- ¼ tsp fish sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- ¼ tsp soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 1 tablespoon chopped up pickled ginger
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp white (keto) sugar
- ¼ of a soft variety green cabbage (100 grams) about 6 oz
