Quick Keto Cranberry Sauce
- 1 packet cranberries
- 1 orange
- 1 apple
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 7 whole allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 small thumb ginger
- 1 apple
- 1 cup keto-friendly sugar
Place the cranberries in a deep pot, they tend to pop while cooking and can splatter.
Zest the orange, add to pot, add the cinnamon stick, all spice, nutmeg, ginger and sugar.
Squeeze the orange juice out, we like the pulp so I scrape it out with a spoon and add to the berries.
Bring to a boil, lower to a simmer until just cooked and soft. Add the apple, peeled and grated. It thickens the sauce wonderfully and makes it chunkier. Cook gently for 10 more minutes, then cool.
Bottle and chill.
